What are Candlestick Patterns?
Japanese candlestick charts were developed over 200 years ago by rice trader Munehisa Homma. Steve Nison introduced them to Western markets in 1991. Each candle shows open, high, low, and close for a time period — and specific formations of 1–3 candles reveal market psychology: who controls the price and whether momentum is shifting.
Educational purposes only — patterns are detected algorithmically and are not financial advice.
