Chart Pattern
A recognisable shape in price action — such as a head and shoulders, triangle, or channel — traditionally read as indicating a likely continuation or reversal.
Pattern recognition is prone to hindsight: the examples in textbooks are selected because they worked. We detect patterns algorithmically on stored candles and report what happened afterwards, including when the answer is nothing, so the record includes the failures.
