Confluence
The coincidence of several independent signals pointing the same way at the same time, on the theory that agreement between methods is more reliable than any one of them.
We measured this on our own history and mostly did not find it. Four of five signal combinations we tested performed no better than their strongest single component, and one apparent success turned out to be look-ahead bias — the measurement started from the first signal's timestamp while the second fired several bars later. After correcting for that it collapsed. We did not ship the feature.
