Contract Address
The unique on-chain address where a token's smart contract is deployed. It is the only unambiguous identifier for a token, since names and ticker symbols can be duplicated freely.
Anyone can deploy a token called "Bitcoin" with the ticker BTC. The contract address is what distinguishes the real thing from an imitation, and it is the identifier to verify before any transaction.
