Honeypot
A token whose contract permits buying but blocks or taxes selling to the point of impossibility, trapping buyers' funds.
Honeypots are detected by simulating a sell against the contract rather than by reading its source, since the blocking logic is often deliberately obscured. A related and equally serious signal is a deployer address with a history of previous honeypots.

How do I check if a token is a honeypot?
Paste the token’s contract address into the Heriux contract checker. It answers from the contract as deployed, and reports this check alongside the others: minting, freezing, upgrades, sell restrictions and the deployer’s history.
