Shape Fit
How closely the price action matches the geometry a pattern requires, expressed as a percentage. It is the coefficient of determination of the lines or curve fitted to the pattern's turning points.
A measure of drawing quality, not of probability. A ninety-percent shape fit means the trend lines pass very near the actual highs and lows — it says nothing whatever about what happens next, and a well-drawn example of a pattern that has never worked is still a pattern that has never worked. The two numbers are kept separate and shown separately for exactly that reason: shape fit describes the past, the measured record describes what followed it.
