Vesting
A schedule under which allocated tokens are released to a team or investors over time rather than at launch, intended to align them with the project's longer-term outcome.
A vesting schedule is a calendar of known future supply. The dates are usually public, and the periods around large unlocks have a different supply profile from the periods between them.
